Enrollment & Registration
2026/2027 Pre-K Applications are now available online.
We will be accepting EOEL Pre-Kindergarten applications online at https://earlylearning.ehawaii.gov/wf/index.html
Your child must be 3 years old or 4 years old before July 31, 2026, and meet a priority category, which includes low family income, English learner, individuals with disabilities act, foster care, or homelessness to meet the age requirement for pre-K.
You will need to upload your application with the following items:
- Your child's birth certificate
- Your previous year's tax return (2025)
- Proof of residence (i.e. utility bill or lease agreement)
If EOEL approves your application, you will need to turn in a Kekaha School Registration Form, health record, and a tuberculosis clearance.
Kindergarten registration:
Your child must be 5 years old by July 31, 2026. Please see the list of required documents below. You may click on the document name for more info or to view a printer-friendly version. As a reminder, your child's PCP may not have immediate openings so please call to schedule your child's appointment as soon as possible.
What documents are needed to register?
Submit online HERE - or - click the document name above to download, print and fill out a registration form to submit in person or upload via the KES website.
- TB Clearance received within one year,
If your child's PCP does not offer TB testing please contact the state department of health at 808-241-3387. Click the name above to view details from the State Department of Health regarding TB testing.
- Student Health Record (Form 14)
This form must be filled out and signed by your child's Primary Care Physician (PCP). The original must turned in to the school as soon as it filled and signed by your child's PCP. Copies will not be accepted.
- Birth Certificate (or passport and/or visa for foreign students)
Guardianship or custody papers are required if parent(s)/guardian(s) are not listed on the child's birth certificate.
- Proof of Residence (e.g. rental/lease agreement, current utility bill with correct name and physical address)
- Photo ID of Parent/Legal Guardian or Foster Parent

Who can enroll and/or withdraw a student?
- Parent(s)
- Parent(s) with custody rights
- Legal guardian(s) - court documents confirming guardianship are required
- Adult with power of attorney - requires legal document
- Caregiver(s) - requires notarized affidavit
- Department of Human Services social worker or surrogate parent if the child is in the foster program
