Kekaha Elementary PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up of volunteers dedicated to improving the lives of Hawaii's Keiki. We are a State charter of the National PTSA, made up of local units throughout the State of Hawaii. Our goal is to improve the lives of children in Hawaii. The Hawaii State PTA prides itself of being a powerful voice for children, a relevant resource for parents, and a strong advocate for public education. Membership in the Hawaii State PTA is open to anyone who is concerned with the education, health, and welfare of children and youth, and supports the mission of PTA. Chartered in 1926, the Hawaii State PTSA is Hawaii's oldest and largest child advocacy organization.
About Hawaii State PTA
The Hawaii State Parent Teacher Association (HSPTA) strives to be the largest and most effective volunteer advocacy organization in Hawaii. Our goal is to bring together families and educators to achieve each child's potential. Hawaii State PTA provides resources and support outside of the regular educational environment to parents, teachers and students, so that Hawaii's keiki can excel in education, society, and life. The Hawaii State PTA works to bridge the gap between PTA and the community to empower and equip children socially and academically, while advocating to support resources for every child.
PTA Mission
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship.
- To raise the standards of home life.
- To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
- To build close relationships between home and school so that parents and teachers may cooperate in the education of children and youth.
- To develop united efforts between educators and the general public to secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
